Binance API Setup
Step-by-step guide to create and configure your Binance API keys
Desktop Web Version (Recommended)
Log into Binance
Visit binance.com and log into your account
Navigate to API Management
Click on your profile icon (top-right) → API Management
Create API Key
Click "Create API" and choose "System generated"
Give it a label like "Tramate Trading"
Configure Permissions
Important: Only enable these permissions
- ✅ Enable Spot & Margin Trading
- ❌ DO NOT enable futures trading
- ❌ DO NOT enable withdrawals
- ❌ DO NOT enable reading payment info
Complete 2FA Verification
Enter your 2FA code and email verification code
Copy Your Keys
Copy both the API Key and Secret Key
Security Warning: Never share your Secret Key with anyone. Store it securely.
Mobile App Version
Open Binance App
Launch the official Binance mobile app and log in
Access Profile Settings
Tap the profile icon (bottom-right) → Security → API Management
Create New API
Tap "Create" and enter a label like "Tramate"
Set Permissions
Enable only "Spot & Margin Trading"
Leave all other permissions disabled
Complete Verification
Verify with 2FA and email, then copy your keys
Adding Keys to Tramate
Go to Dashboard
Log into Tramate and navigate to your dashboard
Add API Credentials
Click "API Credentials" → "Add New"
Enter Your Keys
Paste your API Key and Secret Key from Binance
Select "Binance" as the exchange
Test Connection
Click "Test Connection" to verify your keys work

Once your API keys are successfully added and tested, you can start connecting Discord channels and configuring your automated trading settings.

Finding Your Discord Username
- 1. Open Discord and click on your profile picture (bottom-left)
- 2. Your username is displayed as @username or Username#0000
- 3. Copy this exact username including any numbers
- 4. Enter it during Tramate registration
Adding Discord Channels
- 1. Get an invite link to the Discord trading signal channel
- 2. In Tramate Dashboard → Channels → "Add Channel"
- 3. Paste the Discord invite link
- 4. Configure signal parsing settings
- 5. Test the connection
